BlueBeacon Tool 2.6

The BlueBeacon Tool application serves as a comprehensive utility for managing BlueBeacon iBeacons developed by BlueUp. It facilitates both configuration and spatial detection of beacons with a professional interface.

A. Configuration

• Enables the scanning of nearby, connectable, and configurable BlueBeacons. For each discovered device, users can access the following functionalities:

1. Display detailed BlueBeacon device information, including:

• Manufacturer
• Model
• Serial number (unique identifier for each BlueBeacon)
• Hardware, firmware, and software revision details

2. View and modify configuration settings such as:

• UUID
• Major and minor identifiers
• Advertising interval
• Transmission power (TX)
• Beacon RSSI calibration
• Power-on state
• Connectable status
• Password protection
• Beacon description

3. Access current device status, including:

• Battery level

B. Ranging

• The application performs beacon ranging to detect signals from BlueBeacons, displaying details such as UUID, major, minor, RSSI, and estimated distance accuracy.
• Users can add custom UUIDs to the UUID Region list to facilitate ranging specific to individual beacons or groups of interest.
